Forbidden fruit episode 42
Ewura Adwoa wiped her tears when she spotted Ebenezer and some other guys in the foyer about to ascend the stair case. She entered the class without glancing at her friends. She sat behind her books and tried focusing but as hard as she tried, nothing entered her brain. Before Ebenezer went to his seat, he dropped a piece of paper on Ewura Adwoa's desk. She picked the paper with the intention of not reading the content. She hid it in one of her textbooks. Half way through the prep, the video hit her senses and with trembling hands, she searched through her textbook and took the piece of paper. The content read;
"Since school is about to vacate and we may not have the opportunity to enjoy you for three weeks, we want you to meet us at our usual place so we all can have a good time together for the last this term after the last paper. You dare not disappoint us. You know what is in store for you if you try any funny move. The video is still intact"
The inscription on the paper angered her so much and forgetting where she was, she hit her hand hard on the desk. The sound echoed in the classroom. Everyone turned at her direction. The three girls giggled. Ebenezer knew it had to do with the note. He smiled to himself and glanced at the seniors in the class. He expected them to take action against her because she had disturbed their studies.
A senior ordered Ewura Adwoa to go and kneel down in front of the class for ten minutes and go back to her seat. She lifted herself and did as she was ordered. Kneeling down, she tried all she could not to look at the direction of her three Friend's and Ebenezer as well. Sadness crowded her soul. At that moment, she felt the urge to cry all her tears out. The situation was driving her insane. She declined to cry on a second thought. Shedding tears at that moment would make her a weakling in the eyes of the three girls and Ebenezer. They would use it as a ridiculing tool against her. She tried all she could to put herself together. She went back to her seat after the ten minutes. She rushed out of the class to avoid questions and ridicules from her mates when prep was over. Nothing actually entered her brain that evening. Not only that evening. That particular term had been terrible for her. The teachers kept complaining about her dropping academic performance but there was little she could do to save herself. What was going on in her life had taken her senses. She was already down.
Ewura Adwoa felt a bit relieved when she lay down on her bed. The only true friend she had left at that moment was her pillow. The only thing that didn't ridicule or look down on her. She hugged the pillow tightly and cried herself to sleep.

The exams finally came to an end and Ewura Adwoa with fear, rushed to meet Ebenezer and her friends. Since she was first to get there, she waited impatiently for them. They later emerged from the bush with huge roles of Marijuana on their lips. They were seriously smoking. Ewura Adwoa was shocked to see Ebenezer with the weed. The three guys after smoking had a great time with Ewura Adwoa. The young lady felt weak after the act but that wasn't their problem. They left her on the floor and entered the bush again.
Ewura Adwoa cried and cursed herself for being stupid and naive. She realized the three ladies were right. She was more than stupid. How could she have putting herself in such a mess? Her studies was falling slowly and there she was destroying herself slowly with sex instead of doing something about her studies. Was there an option for her? Certainly not... She had to wallow in the misery till the day she graduate from the school. It was the only thing she looked forward to. She realized all the wonderful things she saw in the school were no more wonderful to her. The stadium, the basket ball court, the halls and departments all brought her pain.
She dragged herself from the floor and cleaned herself with the face towel she had in her hand. She sat down for sometime before making a move to her house. She packed and without saying a word to anyone, left the school.
Two days later, Jackie and Angela joined her in the house from their respective schools. Ewura Adwoa tried as much as possible to put away the troubles she was facing in her school so she could enjoy the vacation. The tree guys were not there to harass her and that put her at peace. She showed no or less interest whenever Jackie and Angela raised school issues. The two ladies noticed it and questioned her about it. It was unusual of Ewura Adwoa not to talk about events that unfolded in her school.
Ewura Adwoa did all she could to avoid Maa Franca and Daddy Ken from noticing something was disturbing her. Because her parent's saw her as a well brought up child, they never imagined something of that sort was happening.
A week before school reopened, Jackie and Angela visited Ewura Adwoa in the house when Maa Franca and Daddy Ken were not home. They plainly told her that something was not right with her. She was trying to cancel something from them and that was not going down well with them. They pushed harder until Ewura Adwoa finally opened up to them. The horror on their faces told Ewura Adwoa she was in serious trouble than she could imagine. Angela advised Ewura Adwoa to let the headmaster or any of the teachers know what was happening to her. Jackie protested. She was of the view that if the headmaster or teacher got involved, they would all be dismissed from the school which would be a big blow to Ewura Adwoa. Her parents would get to know as well. Jackie advised that Ewura Adwoa should tell her school mother about it. She could be of help.
"girls, you still don't understand. I messed up seriously. I lied to my school mother when she asked me about all those stuffs Ebenezer gave me. Do you think she will be willing to help me if I should tell her the truth. I'm in a serious shit"
"how is your school mother like. Is she friendly or the other way round?" Jackie inquired.
"she is very kind hearted but I don't think she will assist me with this one. She asked me several times about it and I lied. Because of that stupid guy, I am not in good terms with my good friends. They advised me but I insulted and attacked them" Ewura Adwoa was in despair
"let me add my voice here. Since according to you, she is a kind hearted mother, take her to a cool place, apologize to her in tears. Let her know how sorry you are for not telling her the truth and she being human, will understand you if she indeed posses the attribute called 'kind hearted'..." Angela added her voice.
Angela and Jackie agreed on the fact that Ewura Adwoa should involve her school mother in the situation. She wasn't in agreement with them but she told them she would do as they have advised. The two ladies were very angry about the matter but there was little they could do to assist her.

- School finally re-opened. Ewura Adwoa waited for two days before going back to school. That was unusual of her. She did so to avoid the three guys. Fear gripped her when she entered the walls of Saint Nicholas Senior High School. She was back to her woes. The woes she had putting herself into. Was she going to go through humiliation and sexual harassment as it happened in the previous term? Her mind kept asking her. She walked to the general notice board to find out how she performed in the previous term exams. What met her eyes wasn't so good. She was the last person before the red line on her class list which meant she almost failed. Ebenezer was first on the list. Followed by some others who were not even closed to her when it came to intelligence. She left the board for her house. She had to do something about the situation before it drove her insane.
