The lunch siren sounded a few minutes after Ewura Adwoa entered her class. One of the three girls she attacked Lilly with saw that all was not well with her. She alerted the other two and they questioned Ewura Adwoa about her mood when they were done with lunch. They had some minutes at their disposal
"Ewura Adwoa, for the past two weeks or so, you have been moody. I don't see you and Ebenezer interacting in class anymore. What is going on?" Betty asked. Being called to the headmaster's office this morning had to do with Nana Ama's issue I told you about sometime ago" Ewura Adwoa explained.
Betty was not convinced. Unknown to Ewura Adwoa, she was madly in love with Ebenezer and was praying things would deteriorate between Ewura Adwoa and Ebenezer so she could get the chance to be with the young man. The lunch over siren sounded and they walked majestically to the class.
Ewura Adwoa walked out of the class without glancing at Ebenezer when the closing siren sounded. Betty noticed it because she had her eyes on her. She called Ebenezer and the young man walked to her seat. She adjusted herself on the chair for him to have space. He sat beside her. Betty went straight to the point. She inquired of Ebenezer what was going on between himself and Ewura Adwoa. Ebenezer told her frankly that they were no more dating. She didn't probe further because what she heard was more than enough. She told him to look at her direction if he needed someone that cares about him. Ebenezer seeing the seriousness on her face and in her words told her not to worry because he also had eyes for her. They both giggled. Ebenezer decided to treat Betty well because she was of high class and from a wealthy home too. They walked hand in hand to Betty's house from the classroom. They hugged and parted ways.

She entered the class without waiting for them to respond. They had a few minutes before prep started. Betty entered the class and signaled to Ewura Adwoa to come out. They were standing behind the metal bars that protected them from falling from the floor.
